Ginza Maison Hermès Le Forum in Tokyo is showcasing their 9 artists from across the glove who were part of Artists’ Residencies program at various Hermès workshops between 2014 to 2017. By working side by side with Hermès’ in-house artisans, artists infused their inspirations and creativity to generate exhibited work. Often times, artists were challenged to deal with materials such as leather, metal, and fabrics they have never dealt with in their artwork. Witness the magnificent pieces and feel their chemistry in person. This exhibition follows the original showing at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris in 2017, and runs through January 13, 2019. Free admissions.
